How do we get off the road to hell?

By Matthew Hayward Bring on the vaccine passports, crackdown on the businesses both socially and with threats of legal infractions, keep chipping away at our rights; we clearly need a little more pressure before you push enough people far enough to stand up against this dystopian, Orwellian lunacy. I'm not proud to be an American, I am ashamed. We are pathetically spoiled, entitled people that hardly deserve the freedom and prosperity available to us. The level of cognitive dissonance or pure ignorance to not see the destruction of our way of life is incredible. Anyone who opens their eyes wide can easily see the manipulation of human behavior through government, corporate propaganda, and regulation of industry and commerce. We are being torn down and programmed through asymmetric social warfare. How far down the road of elusive bureaucracy will we go before people have had enough, before violence and division in our communities grow out of control? How long will those who are suff...

Bring on the vaccine passports

Bring on the vaccine passports, crackdown on the businesses both socially and with threats of legal infractions, keep chipping away at our rights; we clearly need a little more pressure before you push enough people far enough to stand up against this dystopian, Orwellian lunacy. P.S. Dogooders, do you feel lucky? Do you understand what the ramifications are if you go too far? Do you understand what happens when you undermine mental health and launch a full-on assault against our children and way of life? How far do you think you can go hiding behind bureaucracy before people have had enough and violence and division in our communities grow? There is no clear enemy, therefore the enemy is domestic, it is those who support policies of oppression. There will be no politician to go after, no notable person who is the cause, it will be one another's neighbor. This is the path we are heading down. We are only going further down the road of no return. The only hope I see is non-complianc...

Greed Capitalism and the Intellectual Breakdown

While listening to Chris Hedges, author of Death of the Liberal Class, I could not help but agree that education in America is "vocational training for drones." As I read through the comment section, I came across a person talking about the innateness of human greed: The comments were from user: @bapyou and read as follows: ““"human beings are naturally selfish" There is no evidence that this is the case. Our capitalist economy teaches selfishness as a virtue -- the main component of the 3rd rate philosopher Ayn Rand, a woman whom every conservative nutcase on the planet worships as a goddess. In fact, there is far more evidence that the opposite is true. Human beings are not naturally selfish: capitalists wish we were, & so spend ungodly amounts of money convincing us that it is the case.” I agree that human beings are not entirely innately selfish. Once we have attained what we need to survive, the rest is dependent on our environment and intellectual and...

Washington lawsuit challenges unlimited power of the state

2020 was an unbelievable year.   Unbelievably bad. From political polarization stemming from the election and its suspicious results to the pandemic shutdowns and attacks on personal liberty, possibly the only thing all Americans could agree on was fear of government overreach. In Washington, Gov. Jay Inslee justified those fears with a record number of proclamations. During his first two four-year terms, Inslee averaged 11 proclamations a year . But in 2020, he issued a whopping 432 proclamations . Talk about ruling by the pen. Nearly all of his 2020 proclamations were directly related to   Proclamation 20-05 , his COVID-19 state of emergency. Under state law, it was an action he had no authority to take. And the Freedom Foundation, a nationwide public policy watchdog based in Olympia, is ready to argue a new lawsuit challenging his actions. In Washington, the governor is empowered to issue emergency proclamations pursuant to RCW 43.06.010 . However, the law has a...

You're Not Alone

By Matthew Hayward Every day my inbox is flooded with emails about businesses forced to close and the "lockdowns in general." Individuals, families, and small business owners are suffering.   They are rightly angry and don't want to take it anymore. You are not alone. While not everyone expresses their frustration with the ongoing COVID lockdown at the top of their lungs, they are all around us. There is a lot of power in isolating people and making them feel alone. But you are not alone, and when you see or learn about a business standing against the tide , show your support and let them know that they are not alone. Take the time to send them an email, give them your business, or consider acting in solidarity. Here is one of many emails I regularly receive: "My name is XXXXXXXXX; I am a stay-at-home mother of two young children, and we currently live in what feels like the extreme liberal progressive microclimate known as XXXXXXXXX (we moved here in X...

Finally Americans can begin the healing process

I'm so excited that we're finally going to have a bipartisan president that doesn't care about Party politics. I've been waiting my whole life to have a president that wasn't a partisan hack. I thought we finally had it when Trump was elected without support from the establishment of the party he was running for. I thought we finally had it when Trump spoke to and represented the general working population despite the corporate establishment of both major political parties. I didn't really like Trump, and I didn't vote for him in 2016, but I was excited that we finally had a president that wasn't a career politician and that was not part of the globalist establishment and the fake two-party system. I was happy to have someone who believed in America first and didn't answer to or work for the corporate oligarchies, big Pharma, and the banking institutions. Did I mention I did not like Trump as a man, nor did I vote for him? But now, we are f...

Freedom is the Answer

How do we solve, fill in the blank _____________. Easy, stop using the force of government to ruin people's lives. Let people be free. That is what this election is very clearly about. Those who believe in freedom and personal responsibility and those who believe in a paternal government. Those who support a paternal government accept the unintended consequences and suffering caused by the hand of government as it attempts to solve society's problems. Those who believe in freedom and liberty accept the consequences and suffering associated with being free and believe freedom is the solution to society's problems.
