Blessings in Disguise

Blessings in disguise
When you're taking on the largest political organization in the world, Service Employees International (SEIU), you have to be able to take a hit.
The battle to free workers from the clutches of government unions is analogous to the end of “Rocky,” when Apollo Creed (SEIU) makes a dramatic entrance filled with confidence, only to be knocked down in the first round by a motivated challenger named Rocky (aka, the Freedom Foundation).

Humiliated, SEIU has been forced to take us more seriously. Make no mistake, this fight is going to go the distance, and both organizations will sustain numerous blows to the ego and checkbook.
As the battle unfolds, SEIU’s seemly unlimited bankroll is being countered by the Freedom Foundation's wit and tenacity.
We are also thankful for the blessings in disguise. Every SEIU hit job seems to blow up in their face.
When the union put Freedom Foundation CEO Tom McCabe in its sights, we turned the vicious personal attacks into a fundraiser.
A vital part of our success is using the foolish mistakes of the union bosses against them.
Recently, the Freedom Foundation has delivered a barrage of blows to SEIU, battering them to a knee. And like a cornered animal, SEIU is responding by hitting below the belt.
First, they launched a campaign in hopes of destroying a man's life and getting him fired from his job just for serving on the board of a charity they don’t agree with.
In SEIU’s latest despicable attack, they sent emails accompanied by robo-calls to 50,000 health- and childcare providers, scaring them with claims that the Freedom Foundation is like an armed militia sending violent felons to their homes.
With all three childish outbursts, the union's goal was to demonize the Freedom Foundation and make people afraid to learn the truth.
All three attacks backfired.
●     The first attack on our CEO led to one of the best fundraising months on record.
●     The second has led to several donors doubling down their donations
●     In the final attack, we received an outpour of concerned and upset providers. They contacted us to learn the truth, they knew their union was trying to scare them and because of the frequent outrageous claims, provider don’t believe anything the union tells them. Not only are they opting out, they are helping us with commercials and outreach.

The 3rd attack was personal to me, SEIU decided to mislead and scare providers by exploiting the sexual assault of a health care provider. That health care provider was my daughter’s mother. How dare they attack me for defending my daughter’s mother.
These attacks have led to the disenfranchisement of people who normally would be the base of SEIU. We are getting calls from people tell us they’re sorry for what their union is doing and assuring us they don’t approve of the behavior and tactics being employed.
In fact, we recently filmed a commercial with a healthcare provider named Rosetta Horne. Rosetta had received emails and a robo-call from her union instructing her to throw away the information the Freedom Foundation was sending out, not to even look at it.
We didn’t even have Rosetta’s contact information. She learned about us from the union. Thank you SEIU.
I would like to close by again thanking SEIU. Its latest below-the-belt blows have proven to be a blessing in disguise, I can’t thank them enough for their gross incompetence. Blowback from their latest hit will be costly, as the whole of their membership is now learning about their rights to stop funding a money-making scheme.

Grassroots Revolt Against GOP Elitism

By Matthew Hayward In the complex arena of political strategy, even those who occupy the highest echelons of power can falter, demonstrating a profound disconnect between their strategic intentions and operational execution. The recent failure to secure the endorsement for their preferred candidate, Dave Reichert, is not merely a setback; it is a revealing exposé of the grave strategic missteps at the heart of the Republican party's establishment in Washington State. These seasoned campaigners, these stewards of conservative strategy, have evidently underestimated the critical importance of grassroots engagement. While I acknowledge the logic behind promoting an established politician strategically positioned geographically and perceived as moderate in our swing state—a strategy driven by considerations of electability, which admittedly has its merits—the incessant focus on this argument and complete lack of any meaningful engagement and education has alienated the grassroots yet a...

Could Today Be the Cheapest Price for Bitcoin Ever Again? Here’s Why

By: Matthew Hayward Current price  Nov 10, 2024 76.72K 80.43K Is Now the Time to Buy Bitcoin? Bitcoin has come a long way since its early days as a niche digital asset. Today, as we enter another phase in its established four-year cycle , Bitcoin may be at a historic high, but it could soon become the new baseline price. This cycle, which has repeatedly shown Bitcoin’s resilience and long-term growth potential, suggests that the current price might be the lowest we’ll see again. While recent political shifts, including Donald Trump’s landslide election victory, have added new momentum and support for Bitcoin, the timing within the cycle itself makes this an ideal moment to consider buying. A Political Shift: From Anti-Crypto to Pro-Crypto For years, Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies have faced an uphill battle against a U.S. government determined to restrict and control their growth. This opposition was largely led by Gary Gensler, who waged an outright war against crypto from hi...

When the Census Goes Beyond the Constitution

By Matthew Hayward The Census: From Counting People to Collecting Control The Constitution established the census as a straightforward tool for representation—nothing more, nothing less. Article I, Section 2 mandates an enumeration every ten years to determine how many representatives each state is allotted. That’s it. Simple. Effective. Proportional representation was the goal, and the census was designed to achieve it. So how did we end up here—with government agents asking about the number of bathrooms in our homes, our ethnic identities, and everything in between? This is the creeping hand of central planning at work. What began as a tool to empower individual representation has been twisted into a mechanism to empower bureaucrats, planners, and those who believe they know better than free individuals how to run their own lives. Central Planning: The False Promise of Data The justification for prying into the most intimate details of our lives is always the same: “We need the ...
