Union Rule Through Fear

It's no wonder so many union members are uninformed and misinformed; every day I see union propaganda that fails to get basic facts correct when messaging to their members.

They mislead and fail to inform members of their rights; but worse than that, they trick members out of their rights altogether.

When it comes to controlling members through fear, that is organized labors specialty. They tell members they are on the verge of losing their benefits and that "radical extremists want to roll back their gains."

Fear-mongering falsehoods

Several unions have been lying to their members in hopes of scaring them away from learning the truth. They are telling their members that the Freedom Foundation "has fought to take away their wage increases, retirement plan, and health benefits" FALSE.

Unions are telling their members that the Freedom Foundation is trying to access their personal information and is bullying and harassing providers. FALSE!

The Freedom Foundation is trying to access public information to educate union members about their constitutional rights. The union, on the other hand, is using its members’ dues to sue in desperation to keep its members from learning their rights.

If all the union did was up-talk themselves and provide quality representation to win over support while respecting people’s rights, I can’t imagine anyone would mind.

The Freedom Foundation is not trying to "sell anything at the door," that is what the union does. The Freedom Foundation is only trying to inform people of their rights.

The union attempts to enter the homes of those they solicit while the Freedom Foundation does not enter anyone’s homes. Instead of trying to push hard sales, the Freedom Foundation simply wants to make sure health care, child care, and teachers are aware of their rights.

I receive calls every day from people who are being harassed by the union. Here are some excerpts from one today. (Keeping names anonymous to protect the member)

“I have been receiving threatening emails from SEIU 775.”

“SEIU has been trying to contact me almost every day now. I have received a letter from them stating that I cannot opt out because I verbally agreed over the phone to pay union dues for another year. Of course, that is false. They called me on the pretense of raising my life Insurance and asked for a verbal yes to that. Never did they say anything about union dues. I called them on it, and she acknowledged that maybe it might have happened. I could not believe she admitted this.”

Here are some more quotes I’ve gotten:

“They pray on her disability”
“It's people like me they bully”
“They are taking advantage of crippled blind kids”
“They make you sign up over the phone, it’s not a choice”
“They came to my house and thrashed me”
“You better not call the Freedom Foundation”
“You need to shut your mouth”
“They called me, and then they came to my house. I felt like I was being harassed”
“They are already taking my money, why won’t they leave me alone”
“I was intimidated”
“They use coercion”
“I felt threatened”
“They are underhanded”
“Can’t depend on them”
“We don’t trust them”
“They use our money against us”
“They are overwhelming us with nonstop emails and mail, they won’t leave us alone”
"When I objected and said I didn’t want to give hundreds of dollars of my money to the union, the union told me to be quiet and stop causing a ruckus,” Rosetta said.
“They lied to me,” she said.

The more I learn about these unions, the more I talk to victims of these unions, the more frustrated I get with them. It makes me wonder how anyone can justify the gains they are getting in light of the lies and oppression they are facilitating.

I have no problem with people organizing, it’s our 1st amendment right! I have a problem with liars who exploit and manipulate people using fear psychology and hateful inaccurate rhetoric.

Shame on SEIU, WEA and WFSE/AFSCME, you are truly disgraceful and scandalous.

Grassroots Revolt Against GOP Elitism

By Matthew Hayward In the complex arena of political strategy, even those who occupy the highest echelons of power can falter, demonstrating a profound disconnect between their strategic intentions and operational execution. The recent failure to secure the endorsement for their preferred candidate, Dave Reichert, is not merely a setback; it is a revealing exposé of the grave strategic missteps at the heart of the Republican party's establishment in Washington State. These seasoned campaigners, these stewards of conservative strategy, have evidently underestimated the critical importance of grassroots engagement. While I acknowledge the logic behind promoting an established politician strategically positioned geographically and perceived as moderate in our swing state—a strategy driven by considerations of electability, which admittedly has its merits—the incessant focus on this argument and complete lack of any meaningful engagement and education has alienated the grassroots yet a...

Could Today Be the Cheapest Price for Bitcoin Ever Again? Here’s Why

By: Matthew Hayward Current price  Nov 10, 2024 76.72K 80.43K Is Now the Time to Buy Bitcoin? Bitcoin has come a long way since its early days as a niche digital asset. Today, as we enter another phase in its established four-year cycle , Bitcoin may be at a historic high, but it could soon become the new baseline price. This cycle, which has repeatedly shown Bitcoin’s resilience and long-term growth potential, suggests that the current price might be the lowest we’ll see again. While recent political shifts, including Donald Trump’s landslide election victory, have added new momentum and support for Bitcoin, the timing within the cycle itself makes this an ideal moment to consider buying. A Political Shift: From Anti-Crypto to Pro-Crypto For years, Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies have faced an uphill battle against a U.S. government determined to restrict and control their growth. This opposition was largely led by Gary Gensler, who waged an outright war against crypto from hi...

When the Census Goes Beyond the Constitution

By Matthew Hayward The Census: From Counting People to Collecting Control The Constitution established the census as a straightforward tool for representation—nothing more, nothing less. Article I, Section 2 mandates an enumeration every ten years to determine how many representatives each state is allotted. That’s it. Simple. Effective. Proportional representation was the goal, and the census was designed to achieve it. So how did we end up here—with government agents asking about the number of bathrooms in our homes, our ethnic identities, and everything in between? This is the creeping hand of central planning at work. What began as a tool to empower individual representation has been twisted into a mechanism to empower bureaucrats, planners, and those who believe they know better than free individuals how to run their own lives. Central Planning: The False Promise of Data The justification for prying into the most intimate details of our lives is always the same: “We need the ...
