The only path to defeating Inslee is to get people to vote against Inslee

I believe there is a path to victory. It is a path that will require a massive amount of work from everyday people. Are you in? How many people have you registered to vote against Inslee? The answer to that question will determine the outcome of the election. Overview: It is my professional belief the best-run traditional campaign in the world will fall short in achieving 50% + 1 in the 2020 Washington State gubernatorial election to defeat Inslee. Luckily Culp's campaign is not traditional, and 2020 is not a traditional year. Direct messaging should focus on replacing Inslee, not encouraging support for Culp. Selling Culp will NEVER succeed in replacing Inslee, but campaigning against Inslee can be successful. The only way to win is to increase registered voters and voter turnout. A targeted and comprehensive get out the vote campaign will be critical. Strategy: Use the passion and momentum of Culp supporters to make an actionable on the ground difference. From findi...

Has transparency been lost in a never ending legal battle?

In a legal battle that has lasted for years, This Friday, you can watch the Oral argument in T690 v. LC on Sept. 18 @ 1000,   here , under Division III.    This will certainly not be the end, but will there ever be an end?   Summary of a modernized Charles Dickens novel, Bleak House , about Jarndyce and Jarndyce transformed into a real court case in interminable legal proceedings. Lincoln County v Teamsters 690 or (Jarndyce v Jarndyce) concerns the fate of many a man's livelihoods. The case has dragged on through generations of legal counsel, leaving workers to work without a contract, legal costs amounting to far more than would have ever been granted by contract, and no end in sight. Teamsters, like other unions, take their foe to the Chancery, knowing it would be better to "Suffer any wrong that can be done you rather than come here!" “Jarndyce and Jarndyce drones on. Over time, this scarecrow of a suit has become so complicated that no man alive know...

Are Your Union Dues Putting Your Own Life And Property At Risk?

It’s 3 a.m. You hear a window break, so you call 911. It rings several times. An automated voice finally comes on the line: “Due to lost funding,” it informs you, “we are short-staffed. Please press 1 to wait on hold or press 2 if you would like to leave a detailed message about your emergency.” Oh, and have a great day. It’s a nightmare scenario, and one you might soon have to confront given the growing demands to defund law enforcement by even mainstream liberal politicians anxious to pander to their party’s extreme-Leftist base. The question is, are you actually helping to pay for this madness? If you’re a government employee handing over a portion of every paycheck to a union, the answer is almost certainly yes. Among those currently funneling money to organizations openly demanding the defunding and abolition of local police, sheriff’s departments, and state patrol agencies are the: Teamsters; National Education Association (NEA); Service Employees International Union (SEIU); and,...

Too many politicians hiding behind masks to steal your liberty

For power-hungry opportunists around the country, the ongoing COVID-19 scare continues to be the gift that keeps on giving. On June 23, for example, Washington Gov. Jay Inslee apparently saw the need for the emergency powers he assumed back in March evaporating, so he ordered the state’s Department of Health to create a mandatory mask requirement . The following week, King Inslee doubled down by requiring businesses to refuse service to anyone not wearing a mask. As if it wasn’t bad enough when Inslee four months ago exercised powers, he doesn’t have to impose an arbitrary stay-at-home order that killed dozens—if not hundreds— of private businesses while his allies in state government continued to draw a regular paycheck. But his latest edict, requiring masks for every large and small public gathering, was even more irresponsible and will almost certainly set neighbors against one another through selective enforcement. If inciting violence is a criminal act, wh...

Are We on the Verge of Civil War?

By Matthew Hayward Will Washington State's Governor Jay Inslee's announcement of businesses being required to refuse service to anyone not wearing a mask be the breaking point? After months of limited sales and fear of economic uncertainty, Inslee is now threatening financial ruin to any business that will not comply. Business owners of Washington State will be getting their brown shirts in the mail over the weekend. Will they join the Stasi, be an informant, or join the resistance? We are coming much closer to a revolution than most realize. Businesses have been deputized as the enforcement arm of the state. Business owners are literally on the frontline. They must either be willing to stand up and risk everything or comply and be the enforcing arm of the state. If business owners are going to make a stand, they need to know we will be there to back them up. To be successful, they will have to keep their doors open and persist as long as they can c...

When is it time, when will you stand up to tyranny?

By Matthew Hayward We as a society generally agree to certain acceptable regulations and inconveniences. Most Americans will even tolerate greater restrictions on our Freedom in the name of goodwill, or public safety, even if we aren't convinced they are reasonable or make sense. People start to resist at some point, usually around the time our personal well-being and finances are being dramatically impacted. This resistance is not out of ideological bias or interest in the conflict but merely an attempt at self-preservation.  Most business owners have tried to comply with the health department regulations, regulations intended to protect workers and the public from COVID-19. As time has passed, we have learned that while the State claims to be basing restrictions on science, they seem to be arbitrarily deciding who they will work with to create "safe start" guidelines. If you are a large box store, you will have very few restrictions and can remain open. If you are a sma...

Identity politics threatens the foundation of a free society

Communication is the cornerstone of sharing information. Information is the bedrock of any society. Being able to communicate effectively is vital to the health of a free society. Identity politics creates an impenetrable wall of irrational emotion that shuts down any hope of meaningful dialog.  While enjoying some online Texas Holdem poker, I had a very interesting interaction with another player. I lost a big hand to a bad beat*. I made a cocky comment about always getting my bets in while my hand is the best at the time.  Another player chimed in to tell me that I am an "entitled white boy who thinks society owes me." He also made a comment about me looking good, though it was not a compliment. I was a little shocked by the comment and asked the player if they are racist, then mentioned I am not a "boy" but rather a 38-year-old man who apparently looks good for his age. The player's comment could only have been prompted by my picture...
