Most people's morals are flexible

By Matthew Hayward Why should Starbucks listen to a public relations* board ? Could it have a financial impact, possibly, but not as much as you might think? Many pro-life Christian Conservatives still go to Starbucks, knowing they support abortion and other leftist social-political policies. Like 'most' conservative school teachers, people's morals and integrity take a back seat to the comfort and convenience of their daily living. Maslow's Hierarchy of needs does an excellent job of explaining why people sell out. Most people do not focus on the upper tiers of Maslow's pyramid, Self-actualization, esteem, the social needs; instead, most people are content and manipulated into staying focused on basic needs, physiological, safety, and structure. To the degree people are engaged in community building/love and belonging, a higher tier in the pyramid, many social and political taboo issues only make life more difficult. If a person wants to get along with their co-wor...

How to spot a scam on social media

Is this a real profile? How to spot a fake 101. 5 Sings to watch for: 1. New profiles. This can be tricky as people can create posts and change the date on them to look like they were posted years ago, but you will also notice that they typically don't have very many posts, and there are large gaps in time. You often will notice a lack of engagement on their posts as well; sometimes, they will like their own posts just to make it look like they are getting interaction with people. Yes, they often have pictures of a family; they want to trick you and make it look like a personal account.  2. How many friends do they have? Often there will be a small number, but put only a little stock into this; I have seen fake accounts with over one hundred mutual contacts. You need to be looking for the accumulation of things. Some excellent fakes have put some time into accounts to build a following; they often post frequent pictures of beautiful women.  3. People of prominence, high...

It's the legislature not the governor dummy

If you're frustrated by the response to COVID in Washington State, there are two important things to remember. First, Governor Inslee hopefully will not be running for reelection in 2024. While this may offer some hope for change, it's not a guarantee. Second, the Democratic majority in the legislature had the power to challenge the governor's policies but failed to take action. They could have held hearings with public comment and expert testimony and passed more thoughtful laws that would have kept our elected officials accountable. Instead, they chose to remain passive, knowing they couldn't continue supporting the governor's policies and remaining in office. This is a betrayal of their duty to represent their constituents and uphold our Republican form of government. It's important to recognize that our democratic representatives have been undermining the very principles of our Republic with their inaction. They talk about democracy, yet they enable a dictat...

What happens when the state divides families and then sends them to war against one another?

By Matthew Hayward "Our kids can't hang out anymore if you aren't vaccinated..." Tomorrow it will be if your kids aren't vaccinated. "You're uninvited to my wedding due to the fact that you're not vaccinated." "You can't come into my business if you're not vaccinated." "You can't travel if you're not vaccinated." "You can't have a job if you're not vaccinated..." "Nobody's being forced, it's a choice. These anti-vaxxers are crazy, wild, and extreme. What's wrong with these violent people, if they don't want to comply they're free to live alone in squaller on the right of ways. As we watch our society, friends, and families being ripped apart by government fear-driven propaganda my greatest frustration is that they have succeeded in making us the enemy of us. For many of us, surrendering is not an option that we will be considering, for many of us, there will be no comp...

Enough is enough

By Matthew Hayward We need more people speaking out like this. Standing up to the self-righteous authoritarianist psychopaths. We are dealing with real human garbage. Using hyperbolic constant propaganda to create so much fear that people are willing to shame and guilt people who are already facing the loss of their jobs, education, sports, and way of life for refusing to comply with a petty dictator empowered by a State legislative body that willfully neglects their oath of office and their duty to society. They have won, they have successfully pitted the people against one another. It's hard to maintain compassion for such tools of evil. If you vote for any of these Democrat legislators in the future, you are a POS. If you are trying to guilt people into compliance, send me your address and I'll mail you a swastika patch. You, people, are scum. Now let's take it up a notch. If you haven't figured it out yet, we are in the midst of a civil war. The objective is complia...

This is the last stand if you want to stop the vaccine mandate

If you want to win, you better listen up. The king overplayed his hand, and he knows it. He has been working on ways to buy time without looking weak. It feels like an old tv show where two men head toward each other, driving cars. The first to turn away is the chicken. If neither turns... Here is the king's strategy:  Divide and conquer. Pit the people against each other and blame the unvaccinated for every decree. Whenever he tightens down his grip over the people's liberties, he will blame the unvaccinated as a scapegoat. Some people will get accommodations; others will get additional time to have more fear shoveled down their throats and more time to be guilted by the media, co-workers, and family.  If you want to win, you have to stand together and make it hurt. You cannot allow yourselves to be divided. Do not empower the acting autocrat by playing into his game, hanging on to a shred of hope that your employer will spare you. If you permit your numbers to be halved, you...
