Stand Up Before It's Too Late

When people make these lists with bankers and corrupt politicians, they are called terrorists, and they become subject to assassination themselves. Are they terrorists or patriots? Surely our founders would have been on our current government's watch lists; some perhaps on kill lists. The government stopped declaring war over 50 years ago, now they use police actions, and the battlefield is everywhere. I don't know about you, but when bombs rain down, when no-fly zones are implemented, when trade is suffocated, spying, infiltration and data collection is happening, that's a declaration of war. In America, our government has outlawed raw milk, set caps on small farms, criminalized small farming in some areas, set up checkpoints, spy on and collect data on virtually all Americans. Those of us who oppose the actions of the government are put on watch or potential threat lists, and some lists are claimed to be worthy of killing those on it without a trial. Maybe it's h...

Commentary on Ann Coulter on Stossel

Ann Coulter is a terrible spokesperson for the Republican Party. Though I disagree with her on just about every point, she makes in her opening statement. I could make much better arguments for her beliefs than she did. Her foreign policy comments were more than ignorant and insane. All she had to say is that she supported a deceleration of war and she would have won me over. But I would have appreciated a more honest answer; ‘based on the actions Saddam was taking in regards to monetary policy and the impacts it would have had on the US.’ Reasonable arguments can be made for US engagement (I still oppose them) in other countries, but they are based not on a need to protect us from war, terrorism, and violence, but instead to defend our banking system and other geopolitical reasons. Our horrific foreign policy temporally seeks to protect our unsustainable way of life. In Q & A I think Ann had some decent pragmatic points, but again I was irritated with her presumptuous and igno...

Sexism and the Washington State GOP

With complete disregard for equality and free-market conservative principles, the Washington State central committee voted again to impose affirmative action on the State Executive Board. After an amendment had been proposed to repeal the requirement of opposing sexes to be elected to the E-board, Kirby Wilber asked if there was anyone who wished to speak in opposition to the amendment. After a moment of silence and no one approaching the microphone, Republican National Committeeman Jeff Kent stood up and walked down off the platform and out to the microphone. Jeff’s message to the central committee, “let’s not try to do too much at once.” He seemed to be telling people not to rock the boat, and to fear change. This particular issue aside, the sentiments of Mr. Kent’s appear to be at the root of the problem in the Republican party, go along to get along, don’t rock the boat, if it is sinking remain calm and pray for help instead of doing something about it. The Republican party do...

Update on the Liberty Movement

Update on the Liberty Movement Here in Washington, we make up roughly 44% of the State Central Committee. That, of course, means that Kirby Wilbur was re-elected as chair, but he did not win until the second ballot. Mitch Short lost in the first round, and his votes were then split in the second round between Kirby and David Eichner. “We came within nine votes of electing David Ike Eichner, modern-day James Madison, as the Chairman of the Washington State Party. We also came within four votes of electing a liberty Vice Chair.”  There are enough independents on the state board that they hold the balance of power on any future vote. We need to cultivate their support! In a relatively short time, we have come out of nowhere and made ourselves a serious contender in the balance of GOP partisan politics in Washington State. As we continue to grow and mature as a movement and as individuals, we are winning more and more people to our views. We have the opportunity to convince peop...

Is it All About Racism?

"Obama’s 39 percent showing among white voters matched the percentage that Bill Clinton received in 1992" While white voters cross party lines, nonwhites tend not to. Only 11% of the Republican party is considered nonwhite. Does that make them racist, or is it something else, maybe reverse racism? I believe it means nonwhites feel they will benefit from Democrats being elected to office? It’s all about racism one way or another. I would argue that it is less about negative racism and more about positive racism. By that I mean, a message exists in our society that Democrats will tweak the laws and regulations to treat people differently based on the color of their skin, sexual orientation, etc.; while Republicans think everyone should be treated equally under the law. Why should any race/color/sex of people benefit from a political party that is just? This being the case, why would anyone who perceives themselves having an opportunity to be subsidized, give up that opportu...

WHERE IS THE ACCOUNTABILITY?

• What's the controversy with the 2013 NDAA? • What was Fast and Furious and who was held accountable? • Has anyone heard of the Libor scandal, • Who won the Super Bowl? Ooooo, that's why there is no accountability.   KGB defector Yuri Bezmenov's warning to America

"Back to the Center?"

What is meant by the term, "back to the center?" All differences aside, clearly there is a big division in language and philosophical understanding in our nation. In fact, I think it 's hard to talk political ideology regarding right and left when a compass would be better suited for dialog. When I read "back to the center" I can only wonder what center and by whose standards. Maybe the Republican party has not moved to the center, but they certainly have not moved to the so-called "right" either. "He’s big, he’s brash, and he’s not afraid of picking fights with Republicans or making allies of Democrats. Can Chris Christie bring his wayward party back to the center?"

Technology Bringing us Orwell's 1984

Technology is bringing us Orwell's 1984 piece by piece until our grandchildren all become micro chipped. Microchipping is where I draw the line, the day it becomes mandatory in America for newborns to be micro-chipped, is the same day I declare the United States government a rouge terrorist government. This is when declaring war on your government is patriotic and having rifles with high capacity clips becomes necessary. We all have to draw a line in the sand somewhere, just announcing my line. Sadly there will be a continued slow transition in human micro-chipping, most forms of gradualism in this regard will start out voluntary and even be claimed as a benefit, like the advanced driver's licenses. The push for advanced drivers licenses only came about after a mandate for national ID cards, like the Real ID Act, failed several attempts at implementation. The reason this will work is precisely because of the people who think this post is radical/extreme and fringe. The ...
