What is meant by the term, "back to the center?" All differences aside, clearly there is a big division in language and philosophical understanding in our nation. In fact, I think it 's hard to talk political ideology regarding right and left when a compass would be better suited for dialog.
When I read "back to the center" I can only wonder what center and by whose standards. Maybe the Republican party has not moved to the center, but they certainly have not moved to the so-called "right" either.
"He’s big, he’s brash, and he’s not afraid of picking fights with Republicans or making allies of Democrats. Can Chris Christie bring his wayward party back to the center?"
